Laboratory

The KKCAS has four computer laboratories. All the laboratories are equipped with adequate and latest systems, Languages Laboratories and Laboratories with NPTEL facilities. The laboratories are designed with the safety features imbibed in the infrastructure and create an excellent ambience and atmosphere for learning. The lab has a total of 250 computers connected on the network. Internet facility is available for all the systems in the lab with 50 Mbps bandwidth.

Computer Lab Rules for Students

The lab must be kept clean and tidy.

Silence must be maintained in the lab.

Students should wear ID card inside the lab compulsory.

Eating and / or drinking inside the computer lab is strictly prohibited.

Students must turn off the computer and arranging their chair before leaving the computer lab,

Playing of games on computer in the lab is strictly prohibited.

Before leaving the lab, student must close all programs positively and keep the desktop blank.

Students are strictly prohibited for modifying or deleting any important files and install any software or settings in the computer.

Internet facility is only for education / study purpose.

If any problem arises, bring the same to the notice of System Administrator.

Every student must make an entry while entering in the computer lab.

Tampering with the Hardware or Software settings will not be tolerated.

Avoid stepping on electrical wires or any other computer cables.

Do not open the system unit casing or monitor casing particularly when the power is turned on.

Do not insert metal objects such as clips, pins and needles into the computer case, they may cause fire.
