The Internal Complaints Committee was established to hear complaints and grievances about sexual harassment situations. It is also tasked with investigating grievances and making recommendations in response to complaints brought before it. The Committee members will be responsible for the redressal of complaints received from Women employees or Students. According to the law, the internal complaints committee comprises a senior level woman employee as the chairperson and a minimum of two members committed to uphold women’s rights having expertise or knowledge regarding the same.
